And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.  Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen.

Philippians 4:19-20 (NLT)

"God takes care of me!"  So easy to say and even easier to forget.   Too often when life brings a financial setback or an unexpected challenge my mind bounces back and forth between two completely irrelevant ideas.   First, is the idea that I need to worry about the issue.   Second, is the idea that I need to overcome the issue.  In truth, the only thing that matters is that God loves me and that He cares for me.   The key to having faith in a struggle is to remember that God has always and will always take care of me.  He will walk with me through the challenge.   He will work with me through the situation and include me in things that have nothing to do with the issue I want to worry about.   At the end of the day, having joined God in His work, I will have, by God's grace, missed a whole lot of worry and needless effort and gained a greater confidence in the presence and power of His Spirit living inside me.   All to His glory forever and ever!
